Ranch del Mare, a splendid riding stable located within the Barricata Holiday Village, is managed by the Instructors and equestrian Guides Chiara Angelini and Fausto Sturaro, who are passionate about horses and their welfare. The two instructors are well known and respected in the Italian equestrian world thanks to their specialized courses on the training and rehabilitation of troubled horses.
The Ranch del Mare team consists of 6 Instructors and riding Guides. The management of the centre focuses on the welfare of the animals housed. The horses are kept as close as possible to their natural habitat, in large paddocks and in herds, fed with hay and, in summer, fresh grass.

Because of the exceptional location of the Ranch, just a few steps from the sea, it is possible to ride in the best climatic conditions, with breezy summers and mild winters.

The activities at Ranch del Mare
- Riding lessons for beginners and activities for children on ponies, for the guests of Villaggio Barricata
- Rides in the Po Delta Natural Park, including exciting sunset rides on the seashore, an exclusive and very rare experience in Italy. The Spiaggia delle Conchiglie, Shell Beach, opposite the holiday village, is in fact one of the few in Italy that allows horses access and swimming.
- Equestrian training clinic for experienced riders
- Preparation for competitive riding, breaking in and training of foals and unruly horses

A huge structure, 1,000 m² in size, in addition to the stables with 22 boxes with communicating paddock, the 1,100 m² sand field, the 4,500 m² grass field.
